Day One
Arrival in Florence.  Transfer from Peretola airport to the hotel.  After time to unpack and relax gather together for a light lunch and an afternoon walk.   Enjoy the terrace bar in the hotel which offers a splendid view of the Duomo and Palazzo Vecchio before gathering for dinner in a local trattoria.

Day Two
In the morning meet the guide for a visit of the historic center of Florence culminating in a stop to see Michelangelo's masterpiece David.  Following the guided visit, have a light lunch in a local wine bar.  In the afternoon meet a personal shopper who will offer insights into the true artisans of this exceptional city.  The afternoon will be customized according to the requests of our guests. Day Three
Enjoy a leisurely morning before we will take a coach to Villa di Riboia, a family home outside of Florence in a little hamlet called Impruneta. Here the mamma of the family will teach us some of the secrets of Tuscan cooking. We will feast on our labors in the absolutely splendid setting of the Renzoni family home. In the afternoon, there is the option to visit one of the most delightful places in Florence, Farmacia di Santa Maria Novella. This pharmacy has been in existence for centuries and is where the Dominican monks of Santa Maria Novella put together herbal remedies. The space is beautiful, has a very interesting history and the products they sell are of the highest quality. Dinner on your own.

Day Four
Leave the city today and continue on the magnificent countryside of the Maremma in southern Tuscany.  En route stop for a visit of Siena, one of the principle cities of Tuscany, known throughout the world for its famous horse race, il Palio, Accompanied by the colorful Donatella Grilli, a local guide, we will visit the Campo, the Duomo and the Baptistery. Free time will be given in the afternoon to explore the city on your own.   Arrive in the Maremma region in the late afternoon to a place that can only be described as a true paradise.  L'Andana offers an escape from the hustle and bustle that is Florence and epitomizes gracious Tuscan hospitality.  Be welcomed with an aperitivo and explore the grounds of this exquisite property.  Gather together for dinner in the hotel's dining room.

Day Five
Enjoy a leisurely morning at the estate before heading to Suvereto for a visit to the prestigious vineyard Petra.  The approach to the property is stunning  - The cantina was designed by famed architect Mario Botta (who also designed the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art) and you can see it soaring out of the Tuscan landscape as you arrive.  The staff will give a full explanation of the history of the vineyard as well as the winemaking process followed by a tasting of wines.  Lunch will be enjoyed in the local town.  In the afternoon return to L'Andana where spa treatments have been arranged - a perfect ending to a perfect day!  Dinner on your own

Day Six
Be treated to a cooking class in the famed Alain Ducasse kitchen.  Learn the secrets of the cuisine of the Maremma region. At the end of the class, feast on the fruits of your labor.  The afternoon is free for additional spa treatments or an invigorating hike to a hilltop chapel.  Dinner on your own.

Day Seven
In the morning be treated to a private sail along the Tuscan coast to see this area from a completely different vantage point.  What a magnificent end to a beautiful week in Tuscany.   The afternoon is free. Gather together in the early evening for cocktails and a farewell barbecue on the lawn of the hotel.  Spend an evening filled with good friends, good food and good wine.
